Pre-planting Self-Assessment Checklist
For all new crop plantings from the date of AusGAP commencement the grower needs to record and provide this self-assessment declaration to AusGAP to ensure the following criteria are met and initialled.
Planting of new paddocks cannot commence until a planting certificate has been issued by AusGAP after the lodgement of the Pre-Planting Self-Assessment or an AusGAP on-site inspection has been completed.
AusGAP – the Australian turf accreditation program – has been created for the country’s leading turfgrass producers to provide consumers with assurance that their turf adheres to a stringent set of quality standards. The AusGAP certification system not only ensures the genetic purity of a turf-grass variety where appropriate; it provides assurance that the entire production, delivery and installation process is undertaken to the highest industry standards.
